Creating an account
What is a user account?
A user account on Picstar is your public profile as a photographer. From it you can enter contests, join associations, compete in leagues, and showcase your photographs and awards.
Step 1 — Access the website
Go to picstar.es and click Login.
Step 2 — Enter your email address
Type your email address and confirm. Picstar uses a magic link system: you don't need to create or remember any password.
Step 3 — Check your email
You will receive an email with an access link. Click it to sign in automatically.
- If the account already existed, you'll go straight into the application.
- If the account did not exist, the profile creation form will open.
Step 4 — Complete your profile
Fill in the following fields:
- Nickname — public, unique username
- Phone — required
- Date of birth
- Preferred language
- Description / Bio — free text about yourself
- Social networks — Instagram or others (optional)
- Profile picture — an image that represents you (optional)
- Cover photo — header image for your public profile (optional)
The address is not required at registration.
What does your public profile look like?
Once created, your profile shows:
- Your nickname and description
- Photographs submitted to contests
- Contests and leagues you have participated in
- Awards obtained
