Downloading the photographs

Who can download them

Only the administrators of the association running the contest or the league. Jury members and entrants have no access to this download.

When it is available

In a contest, once it is Finished. In any other state the icon is dimmed and hovering over it tells you why.

In a league, from the moment it is Started — there is no need to wait for it to end. That said, you can only download themes that have already been finalised: if you have not closed any yet, the panel says so and will not let you continue.

Downloading

1. Go to Contests or Leagues in the association's side menu.
2. Find the contest or league in the list and click the download icon in the actions column.
3. In the dropdown, pick a category — or a theme, for a league — or leave All categories / All themes.
4. Click the download button and wait while the files are prepared.

Which photographs are included

Only approved ones. You can also narrow the download with two checkboxes, which can be combined:

• Awarded only — just the works that have won a prize.
• Selected only — those that pass their category's cut-off. A category with no cut-off rules nothing out.

Leave both unticked and you get every approved photograph.

How the files arrive

The photographs are split into several ZIP files of twenty-five images each. They are prepared one at a time and each ZIP appears as its own download button: eighty photographs means four files.

Inside each ZIP the photographs sit in a folder per category, and each filename is built from the author, the category and the title of the work. If two matched on all three, a number is appended to tell them apart.

If something goes wrong

If preparation is interrupted, the panel shows the reason and a button to try again. Changing the category or the filters starts the download from scratch.
