Setting up the association

From the admin panel you can edit all the association's details and configure billing. Go to My associations → the gear icon to access it.

General details

Under Settings → General you can modify:

Association name
Nickname — unique identifier in the URL (minimum 3 characters, only available if not already in use)
Contact email
Description — appears on the public page
Country
Address — appears on the public page
Phone
Logo — the association's profile image
Cover photo — header image for the public page
Access mode — decide whether photographers can request to join on their own ("With approval") or whether only you add members ("Invitation only")
This is a federation — turns the association into a federation that brings together other associations, or stops it being one. This switch is saved straight away, without clicking "Save changes". See Federations

Save your changes when you're done.

Under Settings → Billing you can manage everything related to payments. It is split into two tabs:

Connect the association's Stripe account so you can receive payments. See the Connecting the association to Stripe section for more detail.

Once Stripe is connected, configure:

Currency — the currency in which payments will be made (EUR, USD, GBP...)
Taxes — turn tax collection on payments on or off:
- Non-profit associations → no taxes
- Companies → configure the percentage (e.g. 21% VAT)
Tax type — if taxes are enabled, select the applicable type
Manage memberships — enable this option if the association charges an annual membership fee:
- Membership description — descriptive text the member will see when paying (e.g. 2026 annual fee)
- Membership price — annual fee amount
